Along with seeing families in my practice, I work with the professionals and organizations who serve children. Consulting takes a few different forms depending on who is asking and what they need, but the goal is the same: putting sound neuropsychological knowledge to work for the people who apply it every day.
I provide clinical supervision for professionals accruing hours toward licensure. Supervision with me includes case review, guidance on assessment selection and interpretation, support with report writing, and direct feedback on your clinical reasoning. If you are working toward licensure and looking for a supervisor, contact me and we can talk through your requirements, timeline, and schedule.
School teams and medical offices often need a neuropsychologist’s perspective without ordering a full evaluation. I consult on individual cases and general practice questions: what a neuropsychological report means for a particular student or patient, which supports are worth trying first, and when a referral for testing is truly warranted. These consultations can be a single conversation or an ongoing arrangement.
If your child has already had a neuropsychological or IEP evaluation and the conclusions don’t sit right with you, a second opinion can help. I review the prior testing, records, and recommendations independently, then give you a clear, honest read on whether the findings hold up and what I would suggest doing next. Sometimes that means confirming the original conclusions; sometimes it means a different direction. Either way, you leave knowing where things stand.
